A South Carolina faces several charges after his 'act of revenge' ended with a bulldozer on the top of a shed and damage to a home, according to the Newberry County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they were called about 4:30 a.m. June 9 to Jollystreet Road about a tractor that was still running after driving through a shed.

When deputies arrived they found a bulldozer on the shed with the tracks still in motion.

They were able to cut the machine off and then discovered it had been stolen from a nearby construction site and driven to the home on this property.

"The bulldozer was aimed in the direction of the house, which caused extensive damage to the side porch, a carport, and then a block shed at the rear of the house," a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page said.

Robert Fred Robarge, 41, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with attempted murder, malicious injury to property and grand larceny.

“Our investigating Deputies determined this was act of revenge for allegations made in a previous case," Sheriff Lee Foster said. "This was a very dangerous and costly act of vengeance that could have cost the life of the person inside the house or someone traveling on Jollystreet Road in the early morning darkness.”
